Didn't Feel Guilty, 2020

Peacar, winter, 2020
Alphonso is 38, Krissy (Thorn) is 36, Claudio is 11, Isabella is 10, Domenico is 7, Alessia and Marcelino are 2, Pietro is 1

All three women were looking forward to their trip, but each for different reasons. It had been a long time since they were able to travel together...alone.

The first thing that they did was to get Krissy's surgery done. She had suspicisions that her husband Alphonso had been sabatoging her birth control. After six children, when she only wanted two, she wanted to do everything she could to ensure that she was done having oppsie pregnancies.

After she rested and the girls called Alphonso with the agreed upon story that Krissy's inventory was in danger of rupturing and needed emergency surgery, the women enjoyed their time in Kimikura. All three were fluent in the language which made things such as hassling for prices in the market a lot easier.

Back in Apple Valley, Alphonso was taking care of business of his own. Harris needed to provide his payment and Alphonso might have a big heart with his children and family, but he was a man of steel when it came to business.

Krissy didn't feel guilty at all as Alphonso babied her upon her return from Kimikura and her "emergency surgery". Not one bit. Especially since she was fairly certain that he deliberately sabotaged her birth control even after he knew that she didn't want any more children.

She had been thinking a lot about thier marriage. It seemed picture perfect...except for that huge violation of her trust. How could she ever trust someone that didn't take her feelings and desires into account? Especially over something as significant as family planning.

Claudio was almost a teenager and if they had stopped after the two children she wanted, she would be a mother of two tweens.

Sure, they got along like oil and water, but it would only be two of them.

When she was also busy with four other children...

it was just plain annoying.

  1. I like that, "ruptured inventory". Really gives it that extra Simmy feel. Didn't you have a Sim die from that a while ago?

Can't say I blame Krissy for being frustrated and suspicious. I really feel for her, especially since I still feel like one of the unplanned pregnancies was my fault :P Do you think she'll ever confront Alphonso about the birth control, or is he likely to find out what the surgery was really for? Either way, I hope things work out for her now!

    1. You have a great memory. Lyndon's first wife, Nicole, died from that. In terms of the truth coming out regarding the birth control and the surgery, we will have to wait and see. Thanks, VT, for reading and commenting

  2. Uh oh, sneakiness and deceit on both their parts doesn't bode well for their marriage.

    1. It doesn't, but considering Alphonso knows that Krissy knows of his illegal activities and turns a blind eye might make him turn a blind eye to some things as well. Thanks, Dawn, for reading and commenting

  3. There is a lack of trust and respect in this relationship, definitely far from picture perfect. I hope that they can air their concerns and come to a happy conclusion. That is a lot more babies than she bargained for, and far above 2!

    1. Right now they are both willing to give up some trust in their relationship for the other things they get from each other instead. However, we shall see if that will be enough for the future as life goes on. Thanks, Maisie, for reading and commenting

  4. Ha, ruptured inventory!

There's a lot of lying going on in this marriage at the moment. :\ I'm curious if they'll ever come clean with each other or if they'll just continue with this toxic pattern. It can't be healthy long term.

    1. I'm not sure either. Krissy is a very strong woman, but she's also willing to overlook somethings for the sake of family peace. Alphonso seems to be very much the same way. I do doubt that they would stand for cheating which is one reason Krissy kicked Bill Carr to the curb so many years ago in university. Thanks for reading and commenting.
