Bare-Part 2, 2022

Remar, summer, 2022
mini-update

They decided on a simple honeymoon. Ideally they would have loved to return to Kimikura and visit some tropical island, but with Amanda's student loan debt and Gerald's decision to move out of the apartment left a strain on their financial resources.

They were going to move to a new apartment that they could afford on their income and still be able to pay down Amanda's debt and save for a down payment for a future house.

A simple honeymoon didn't mean that it wasn't enjoyable. It was nice to be able to get away from the hustle and bustle of their jobs and just relax.

  1. Smart to have a stay-at-home honeymoon. Airfare and hotels are expensive so I'm sure they were able to have special splurges like dining at ritzy places and doing whatever tourists who visit their area would do.

  2. Hey, it beats being at work! Kimikura can wait for when they have their debts taken care of and have saved a bit of cash. Glad they had an enjoyable honeymoon!

  3. Amanda and Elliot made a good choice not breaking the bank on their honeymoon. Looks like they had a good time regardless - I think it matters more that the newlyweds are spending this time together than where they spend it, or how much they spend on it. They're such a lovely couple and I wish them all the best :)
